Greenacres, Wexford Recognised for Top Class Shopping Experience
Wexford retailers continue to be at the forefront of driving customer excellence and last night those leading the way were recognised at the Retail Excellence Ireland Awards 2017 in association with Barclaycard.
Following hundreds of entries Retail Excellence Ireland has crowned Greenacres, Selskar, National Store of the Year 2017. The store has been a well known local brand for over 30 years, and has now received the nationwide recognition it deserves. Commenting on the win Lynn Drumgoole, Communications Director at Retail Excellence Ireland said ‘Greenacres is an incredibly innovative company that has created a top class shopping experience where customers can enjoy quality products and customer service in an environment that inspires them. I want to commend all of the retailers who entered this year’s Awards, they demonstrated the highest standard of service, customer engagement, display and levels of investment making the Greenacres win a well-deserved accolade.’
Emma Cooke, Springmount Garden Centre, Gorey was presented with the Westland Rising Star Award for her exceptional talent and dedication to the garden centre industry. Best in class winners across key retail sectors, people and ecommerce were also awarded and Wexford retailers featured with TheDuck@Marlfield shortlisted as a Top30 Store and Gorey which was down to the final 3 for the Retail Excellence Ireland’s Friendliest Place Award.
The Awards were presented on Saturday evening (5th November) by Hector Ó hEochagáin. The sell-out event was attended by more than 500 Irish retail industry executives. The Awards are the biggest event in the Irish retail industry calendar.
